Metriq MTO is a web application that turns a Navisworks NWD model into a line-based piping material take-off in Excel, for piping estimators, quantity surveyors and contractors. A PDF report comes with it, to send with the bid.

NWD files exported from Plant 3D, Revit MEP and DWF piping models. Metric and imperial (US) models both work: sizes in DN or NPS, pipe in metres or feet. Not sure about yours? Send it before you buy and we will check it.

Any of the 200-plus countries Paddle sells in, to businesses, priced in GBP. Prices exclude sales tax and VAT; Paddle adds what your country requires at checkout.

Up to 300 MB per NWD. Split larger federated models by discipline; each part counts as one model.

In Metriq you can open the model objects behind a row in the 3D view, so you can spot-check any line before you price. Every quantity comes from objects in the model.

£200 a month for the whole team, with unlimited users and 15 models a month, or £100 for a single model, plus VAT or local tax. Sold to businesses only. A UK company pays £240 a month, or £120 for a single model, including 20% VAT.

Yes. Every upload is one model, so rev B uses one of your 15 a month, or is a new single-model purchase. Running the same file again differs by plan: the monthly plan counts every run, while a single model pays for that one file, so re-running it when we improve the product is free (fair use).

Yes, on the monthly plan. We set up your client’s MTO template in the first month, and every model after that follows it. A single model is measured with the standard template.

Yes, any month, from the billing portal. It ends when the period you paid for closes, never mid-month.

Yes, in full if you write to us within 14 days of payment and the model has not been processed. Once it has been processed, the purchase is final. A free re-run of the same file when we improve the product is included (fair use); client templates come with the monthly plan.

By card. Paddle, our merchant of record, is the seller: it takes the payment, adds the tax due in your country, emails the invoice after every payment and keeps it in your billing portal. Add your company name and tax number at checkout and they appear on the invoice.

Going past a monthly limit (a 16th model, a 4th model over 150 MB, or one that takes the month past 5 GB) does not stop your work and carries no extra charge (fair use). If it happens regularly, we get in touch to agree a larger plan. For 25 models and 5 large ones every month, email us.
