What the files show
The Excel workbook
The take-off itself, ready to price: a line-by-line MTO with one row per line, item and size, totals by item and size, and breakdowns by system, fitting type and material. Pipe is in metres; fittings, flanges and valves are counted. The cells hold values, not formulas, so you can sort, filter and paste them into your own sheet.
The PDF report
The document you send with the bid: the headline totals, pipe by size, fittings and flanges by size, each source model and what it adds, the material split, and notes that say what was read and what was not.
The sample plant
A synthetic Plant 3D plant with three source models, carbon and stainless steel lines, and pipe from 1 to 10 inches. No customer model was used and every number is invented, but the files are the kind a paid model returns.
Units and sizes
Sizes are nominal inches, and reducing items carry both sizes, written large × small. Pipe is the net length from the model, with no waste or cutting allowance; add that when you price.

Questions
Is the sample from a real project?
No. It is a synthetic plant built for this page: no customer model was used and every number is invented. Metriq produced the files, with the same sheets a paid model returns.
Will my take-off look the same?
You get the same kind of workbook and report. A single model comes in the standard template, as here; on the monthly plan the workbook follows your client’s own MTO template, set up by us in the first month.
Can I check my model before I buy?
Yes. Email can@metriqmto.com before you buy and we will check that your model works. Under a confidentiality agreement? We sign yours.
