Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

Metriq is operated by Can Özdoğan, sole proprietor, Türkiye(“we”, “us”). Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of recordfor every subscription. That means Paddle is the seller of record on your invoice, collects payment, and handles the sales tax or VAT due in your country. Paddle’s own buyer terms apply to the payment transaction; these terms govern the service itself.

2. What the service does

Metriq reads a Navisworks federation you upload and produces a piping material take-off: an Excel workbook, an evidence report, and an on-screen breakdown. Quantities are derived from the properties the model publishes.

Metriq is a measurement aid, not a substitute for professional judgement. A take-off can only be as complete as the model behind it. You remain responsible for checking the output before it is used in a tender, a purchase order, or any other commercial commitment. We publish the evidence report precisely so that check is possible.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for everything done under your account. Tell us at can@metriqmto.com if you believe an account has been compromised. Accounts may add unlimited users; there is no per-seat licence.

4. Subscription, price and billing

• The subscription is monthly and renews automatically until cancelled.
• The published price is £200 per month, excluding VAT. Paddle adds any VAT due at your country’s rate and shows the total before you pay.
• You may cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; access continues until then.
• We may change the price with at least 30 days’ written notice. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

5. Fair use

The plan includes 15 models and 5 GB of upload per month. Going over does not stop your work — additional projects are invoiced separately. A fair-use ceiling sits well above the plan to protect the service from abuse; we contact you before you reach it rather than cutting you off silently.

6. Your data and your models

The models you upload and the take-offs produced from them are yours. We claim no ownership of them and do not sell them. We process them only to run the service for you and to diagnose faults you report. See the Privacy Notice for detail, including how long files are kept.

If your subscription ends you can still sign in to export your existing take-offs; only new uploads and processing stop.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Metriq available continuously but do not promise uninterrupted service. Processing depends on third-party infrastructure (Autodesk Platform Services for cloud translation, and our hosting and database providers). Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practicable.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from a commercial decision taken on the basis of an unchecked take-off.

9. Ending the agreement

You may cancel at any time as described in section 4. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or whose payment fails and is not remedied. Where we end an account for convenience we will refund the unused part of the current period.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email to the account owner at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
